Darrel's Decision
My name is Darrel Wiebe and I am farming together with my wife and three kids on the same farm where I grew up.

I was raised in a family where both of my parents believed in, and lived for Jesus. They brought me to church regularly and tried their best to point me to Christ. I soon realized that life was, and still is full of choices that we have to make for ourselves. Jesus was always in many people that lived around me but I needed to make the decision to accept Jesus Christ for myself. The Bible speaks of sin and how everyone has sin in their life. Romans 3:23 says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
In Romans 6:23 it says that the wages or reward of sin is death. It goes on to say, "but the gift of God is eternal life."
At the age of 9 I made a choice to accept the forgiveness that God offers to each one of us! John 1:9 says, if I confess my sin to Jesus He will forgive me and make me clean and acceptable to God. John 3:16 goes on to say that the reward to a person who is clean is eternal life. What a great promise and what a positive way to live here on earth.
There are difficult experiences that we go through while living here on earth, but when you have Jesus' forgiveness you will see your day to day life take on purpose. You will see other people through the eyes of your Lord. They are God's creation and they need Him.
When you make choices you will ask yourself, what would Jesus do if faced with this, how would He react, or what would He say?
To accept or reject Jesus' offer of forgiveness is the most important choice each one of us must make, so I encourage you to consider it carefully, and as you make your decision, think of the consequences of that choice.
