Very few positive changes are made in the world without prayer. Prayer unleashes God's almighty power.

Since its conception each Internet Committee meeting has begun with prayer. It is of vital importance that God is leading and guiding our decisions each step of the way. We believe that God has guided and our prayers have been and continue to be answered.

Now that the web site is operating it needs to be bathed in constant prayer so that needy souls visiting our web site can be touched by God and gain a fuller understanding of Him.

The Internet Committee would ask you to pray with us for the web site so that souls will be saved through this medium.

Impact Canada is a program administered by WTM with the actual distribution of the tracts being done by Tract Clubs. These clubs request a location and tracts from WTM and then stuff the tracts into envelopes. Using special mailing rates they then send an envelope to each home in a specific community.

Each package of tracts is prayed for before it is mailed. From talking to the different clubs we know that when they meet they generally first stuff the envelopes and then have a time of prayer for the people who will be receiving the tracts. At WTM, we believe that there are two crucial components to this ministry: 1) willingness to stuff the envelopes and, 2) prayer.

Tracts need prayer to reach their full potential.

Prayer is a vital part of our ministry to the Hutterites and many people are specifically praying for us and the people we minister to. Throughout the years we have been encouraged by people and churches who are willing to partner together with us.

One of our methods of outreach is to lead a small group. This is designed to be a time of teaching as well as prayer. When we draw close to God in prayer, He changes us and the teaching we have heard is allowed to take root.

We also host men's breakfasts, which are a time set aside to pray as a group and bring the needs of each other before Him.

It's been said before; prayer is power and this ministry is only successful when it has that power.

Each volunteer involved with the Bible Correspondence Department spends much time in prayer. As a staff we meet weekly to bring the requests of our students before the throne of grace. Our teachers also pray for the wisdom of God to answer the student's questions. They need wisdom to understand what the student is really asking and then to be able to explain the answer in a way that they will understand.

Will you commit to pray with us for the students studying God's Word and the teachers who have been entrusted with the awesome task of leading them?

Scripture Signs has put up signs throughout the country. Prayer is the single most important ingredient that can increase their effectiveness once they have been put up.

Although we know of specific instances where people have become Christians because of a sign, we have no statistics to prove that a sign that has people praying for it is more effective. However, we believe this to be true. The Lord often has to use many different things to touch the hearts of sinners. A prayed for sign will be used by God to point a weary heart to Him or to bring hope to a struggling Christian.
