The Annual Meeting of Western Tract Mission, Inc.
Once a year everyone interested in Western Tract Mission is invited to come
and hear what God did through the Mission the previous year.
This year, during the devotional, Dave Ginter emphasized that we must spread
the Gospel using methods which the people we are trying to reach understand.
God chose to send Jesus in the form of a man so people could easily
relate to Him. Likewise the staff and volunteers at WTM, and indeed all
Christians, must present the message of salvation in a way others
understand and can relate to.
The financial information was presented and we've included the
Income Statement on this website.
Those attending also heard a report from each department about the work done
in their area the previous year. Some highlights for the year 2000 are:
* A large number of the Bible correspondence courses are being done by
Hutterite children;
* Seven people were saved through Impact Canada;
* The web site has moved from Hypermart, which flashes advertising, to a
Christian web host. This costs some money but offers more space, more technical assistance and no advertisements;
* Several new tracts were printed.
If you would like a copy of all the reports that were given at the Annual
Meeting please write to the Mission and request them. We would be glad to have you rejoicing with us.
