Bird Cage
This tract is a parable. First it tells a story of a man who pays $10.00 for
some worthless birds from a boy who was only going to torture them.
The tract then explains the modern day parable. It tells how Satan had been
to the Garden of Eden and managed to trap the people there. He explains to
Jesus just what he's going to do with them - "teach them how to marry and
divorce, how to hate and abuse each other, how to invent guns and bombs to
kill each other." Once he was done all of that, well, he'd just kill 'em.
Jesus asks how much Satan wants for all those people and Satan replies, "All
of your tears, and all of your blood."
Jesus paid the price in full and opened the door of the bird cage trapping
us and allowed us to go free. We must choose to walk out of that cage and
into the freedom that Jesus offers us.
This tract has a wonderfully simple way of explaining what Jesus did for
us and has such a visual way of explaining the wonderful freedom that Jesus
offers us.
This tract is NEW to WTM, please take advantage of it!
