Diamonds to Give
The purpose of Western Tract Mission is to promote the gospel, win unbelievers,
disciple, teach and build up believers, encourage them to participate in a
church as well as fulfill the Great Commission. WTM does this by distributing
Biblical evangelical materials.
As you can see there are many different goals that the Mission is accomplishing
through the materials that we hand out. Therefore, we have a wide variety of
materials. We have tracts that are appropriate for many different situations
and lifestyles. We have Mailbox lessons and Bible Enrichment courses that are
designed to promote growth in children as well as adults.
WTM also has specific programs to distribute tracts in a comprehensive, as
well as organized, manner. Members of the Mission are invited to participate
in a number of different programs, the Personal Mailing Program, the General
Mailing Program or Impact Canada.
When a member uses the Personal Mailing Program they send out sets of
tracts to persons once a month for three months.
The names have been sent in by a different Christian who knows them. In this
issue we have a form you can use to send in names for other distributors to
mail tracts to your unsaved friends.
The General Mailing Program involves
sending out one set of tracts to names that have been gathered through the
phone book or other such method. These people have no connection to anyone
with the Mission but deserve an opportunity to hear the way of salvation just
the same.
Finally, Impact Canada does mailings to an entire town. These mailings
are usually done by tract clubs (a group of friends gathered for this purpose).
The tract club is given a specific town and then prepares a set of tracts to
go to every house in that town.
For your information we have included a list of all the tracts and Bible
Courses that are offered at the Mission. We encourage you to prayerfully
go over the list and see which one of the "diamonds" listed, God would have
you to give.
