THEME: Telling Others

Ruthanne - a New Volunteer
As a child (about four years old) I asked Jesus into my heart, but never really understood the commitment, obedience and relationship with God that came along
with it. Up until January 2000, I lived my life just like any other non-believer
would.
One night my brother Matthew came home from praise and worship at church.
He had just become a Christian a few weeks earlier and was very excited and on
fire for God. Matthew, my parents and I were sitting around talking about it
and how amazing it is to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. At that point,
I realized that I wanted the peace and joy they were experiencing, so I made the decision to devote my life to serving Christ. Later on I prayed the sinners
prayer and I've been walking "in the light" ever since.
I started working at WTM a few months ago and now work part-time. I really enjoy
working at WTM because I know what I am doing is making a difference in
someone's life.
Jeremiah 10:23 says: "O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself;
It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps."
Editor's Note:

We wish them well.
