The Annual Business Meeting of our mission is February 22, 2003 from
9:30 - 12, with a lunch provided. We encourage everyone who wants to know more
about our mission to attend. We are on the brink of many exciting opportunities
to serve and glorify the God we love. Come be a part of this. The Office is On-line!Our offices have just been connected to High-Speed Internet (Lite), and the staff are learning the ins and outs of 'another" means of communication. Excuse us if we have a few glitches once in a while, as some volunteers have never used email before. However, please use our Contact forms, or our Feedback forms to reach us from this web site. Fund-Raisers for 2003February 7 - 4:30 -8 pm. A Soup & Pie Supper in Osler.March 14, 7:30 pm. Plan to attend theMissions Drama Festat Neuanlage Grace Mennonite. You will see a full program of skits, dramas, and puppet plays on the theme of missions and witnessing, You'll also get better acquainted with our various ministries, plus - opportunity to sign up for the Cyclathon, and many other things!July 5-6 - The Mark Jenkins Memorial Ride- Saturday/Sunday A choice of 50 kms or 100 kms followed by a BBQ and a Worship and Praise Service. (Ride in any of the Rides organized by the Cycling Connection across Canada to raise funds for our mission. See http://thecyclingconnection.com for details as to which one is nearest to you). It's a good idea to start endurance and strengthening exercises now already, and to send for your sponsor sheet, so that you can collect as many pledges as possible. Last year we were aware of this opportunity too late to promote it. We would like to see many of Mark's friends, and many of our mission's friends get behind this and have an unforgettable spiritual mountain top experience. Earl Klassen, of The Cycling Connection (Abbotsford) who organizes these rides, says it is almost guaranteed that most riders are able to raise over $1000 for their favourite ministry. |
