The Appreciation Tea

On Sunday afternoon, September 12, we honoured those who worked at our fundraising Walk for Jesus in June. We also recognized the writers and designer of our newest tracts.

The basement meeting room was filled to capacity for a short program of special music and ribbon awards. Director, Arnold Stobbe was kept busy handing them out, and pausing for camera flashes.

Cheris Blackmore and Wendell and Helen Klassen are shown receiving their awards, among the many so honoured.

Bonnie Neufeld, (left) author of "The Wonderful Grace of God in Bonnie's Life," told how the call to have her testimony made into a tract had encouraged her at a low time.

Barb Jenkins, (below) author of "Give Thanks in All Circumstances," shared a bit of background to her testimony, and outlined how God had taught her to trust and praise Him in the midst of very trying times.

A lunch, visiting and a tour of the building followed, making for a memorable Sunday afternoon.
