November 2004
Greetings to all our faithful supporters of WTM!
Another year has come and gone since I last worte a year end letter. It's interesting
that only what's done for Christ will last. Let's ask ourselves what we have done
for Christ this past year.
I, along with many other people, are studying the book, The Purpose Driven Life,
by Rick Warren. He points out that to truly worship God, is to do what Romans 12:1
says, "...to offer ourselves a living sacrifice to God." This type of offering
really pleases God!
At this time, on behalf of the Board, I would like to thank all of you, our
faithful volunteers, that make it possible for WTM to keep sending the Word of
God into the world. Some of you send money, some psend many hours in getting the
mail out, or in correcting lessons. Some of you are interceding with God for the
Mission. Thank you again.
We thank God for new life in Christ. Some people have responded to the call of
Jesus through our literature. We also have a web presence on the internet and
people are using our web site, and we trust they are being challenged. Have you
read some of our new tracts?
Here are some "DO YOU KNOWS..."
Do you know what EMV stands for and would you like to be one?
Do you know we need more board members?
Do you know that our budget for 2004 could be achieved by a special Christmas
donation from you?
Do you know that there are about 3000 Reflections send out and if each one
of you could donate $40 in January, our 2005 budget would be met in the first
month?
I trusts the Lord will bless you this coming year and remember to keep praying
for Western Tract Mission.
Archie Loewen
Board Chairman.
