These three tracts above, written by Dr. Bruce Pringle of Saskatoon, some 15 years ago, have recently been reviewed by him, okayed, and reprinted by our mission. They have very practical advice for those who find themselves floundering, and in need of godly counsel.
As more and more people admit that they are dealing with depression, and low self-esteem and a surprising number seriously consider suicide or even attempt it, you will find that these tracts are almost always recieved with true gratitude.
The first one for instance, lists 24 causes of depression and then lays out steps to deal with it before God. The second also gives information, and then turns the reader's focus torward Jesus. The third starts with the story of Freddie Prince, who had so much to live for. Dr. Pringle speaks very gently but directly to those thinking about suicide, and shows them the Light of the world who can bring them from despair to sunshine. Jesus gives meaning and purpose to our lives.
