The Ron and Eunice Foster family with eight children in their musical family were the headlining
music group for our celebration program. They live in Kinistino, and had a long drive after some of
the boys finished a school basketball game. In fact, they arrived half an hour late, but the
audience waited patiently for them, and were rewarded with some excellent songs. Also singing were
the Peters Sisters, and Beryl Harbidge.
Earlier that day, March 7, the highways had been treacherously icy, but spring blew in and helped,
so that a good crowd of about 150 people joined us at the Cornerstone Church in Saskatoon.
Director, Arnold Stobbe and several others from the mission gave brief reports on answered prayer in
the past year.
After the program everyone went into the gym area for the variety of desserts which the Board
members had prepared.
An offering taken at this musical concert for the Mission's continuing ministry in tracts, Bible
courses, literature, Scripture Signs, and internet, came to about $2000. $1830.36 after the
immediate expenses.
