The number of people had increased for this Annual Report meeting over the last few years. Rick and Bery Harbidge, our Ethnic missionaries in Alberta, were present too, as were Joe and Penny Homontowski, who work in the office.
The reports from the departments were encouraging and up-beat. Good things are happening at this mission! At the end, Ruth Friesen, a volunteer and Board member was voted in as a part-time missionary.
The 66th Anniversary Dessert-Night Celebration
Tuesday evening, April 17, friends and supporters gathered at the Rock of Ages church at Kingsmere Place in Saskatoon, for a program of special music by Joe Homontowski, and Beryl Harbidge, and a Presentation on the 9 Points of our ministry. Staff and volunteers reported briefly for each department.

This was followed by the introduction of the Blitz, a plan to reach every home in Saskatoon this fall with a 16-page gospel booklet. Two pastors, a Board member, and a volunteer dedicated this plan with prayers.

This was followed by desserts and fellowship in the gym. Over $1500 was raised for the Blitz in the offering taken that evening.
