(To protect identities we use only initials on these sample excerpts). (K. Saskatoon, SK) I am an adult with a son who does not have much use for churches or the Word of God. I do not lose hope - Amen! (A.C., Moose Jaw, SK). I loved the stories! (M.K., Saskatoon, SK.) Your little booklet "There is Hope" is wonderful. It is so good to read how Jesus is touching and healing lives so close to home. Please enroll us in your mailing list and in the free Home Bible study course. (H&B T., Prince Albert, SK.) The area I feel most hopeless about is my mom being a believer. My Mom and Dad are going through a divorce. It's been 4 yrs since they separated. (J.A S., Lethbridge, AB). I received your "There is Hope" booklet in my mailbox today. It came at a perfect time as my family is going through a tough time right now. Two weeks ago, [a relative's] husband, who suffers from mental illness, attempted to take his own life while in the care of a hospital. Obviously it was a shock to the whole family especially since he had such a strong faith in God. He is in critical condition and no one knows what the outcome will be. There are so many people praying for him and God has already done miraculous things through this. It is amazing how something like this causes one to take a look at their own life. Through this I have realized how often I put God aside and and put my time and energy into other things. When I read through your booklet, it encouraged me so much. I think what will stick with me the most from the booklet is Jeremiah 29:11-14, what an amazing verse of HOPE! (L.W., North Battleford, SK.) Thank you. I used to do these [lessons] as a child. I look forward to it! (S.H., Saskatoon, SK.) |
