Almost three years ago, God met me in a very personal way, which could definitely be called 'a God moment,' or an experience of His grace.

I was scheduled for a biopsy and had specifically asked God to supply me with a Christian health care worker during that procedure. I also asked that He would make it very clear to me that the person was a Christian.

During the procedure, the man attending me was talking aloud to his young female assistant and said to her, "Now Jennifer, I know that you're a Christian. . . " Imagine my delight in experiencing that very specific answer to my very specific prayer!

I immediately started crying with joy and the man asked if he should stop the procedure.

I encouraged him to continue while I talked with Jennifer, telling her of my request of God that very morning.

Later, when she and I were alone in the room, we shared with each other of how God was working in our lives and she even took the time to pray with me.

Praise the Lord that He truly cares about every detail of our lives!

Have you received Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord?

Then you know a desire to learn more about Jesus. If that desire wanes experience will show you that sin will creep into your life. We must always grow in love and devotion to Jesus. If we do not, we will grow colder.

The most obvious way to know more about Jesus is to spend lots of time reading and absorbing the Bible. God's Word is full of Jesus. But another lesser known way is to show grace to others. Then we become more like Jesus, and that will help us to know His heart more intimately in a wonderfully sweet way.
