God Moment
- Carried through Chemo

After several rounds of chemo I became discouraged and one morning before having to go for another treatment I was lying in bed complaining to God because I really didn't want to go for another treatment.

As I was praying to the Lord about this God caused a ray of sunshine to come into my bedroom window and hit a prism on my window catcher. The room was transformed into thousands of tiny rainbows. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I knew that God had heard my prayer and that He would be with me that day while I had another treatment and throughout this trying winter.

God walked with me throughout that winter of Chemo treatments and then radiation. When I became too weak to go on, God picked me up and carried me. My faith was tested that winter but God refined my faith and made it stronger. Do I regret going through that winter, No. It was hard but God taught me to be able to say with Paul in Philippians 4 verses 12-13 from the NIV translation "I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength."
