Appreciation Tea
Sunday afternoon, August 30th at 3 p.m. will be a happy memory by the time you receive this in your mailbox. This is when we met together to honour and give recognition to the volunteers who participated in the Walkathon in June, and often in other ways too.
We dedicated the new booklet, "Inner Peace Factor" and some new tracts.
Although it is still summer-time, and people have many things to take part in, we appreciate those who set aside a couple of hours that afternoon to join us in recognizing our volunteers, and offering our new publications to the Lord, for His blessing and anointing. Look for a full report in next issue of Reflections.
Mailing of Inner Peace Factor
In September another mass mailing of a new booklet with five fresh testimonies is going out to a large section of rural and small-town Saskatchewan. If you are an intercessor, we would ask that you pray for prepared hearts and minds to read these testimonies and to recognize their own need for salvation and a new life in Christ.
After we chose the testimonies to use, we noticed that all of them referred to the peace that Jesus brought into their lives. Since there are many who live in turmoil and very much lack peace, we trust these testimonies will speak to their hearts and bring them to faith in Christ.
Day of Prayer
November 21st is the next big event on our calendar. We suggest you mark it and plan to come join us. If you have ever wished you could be with others who pray and learn by doing, this is your opportunity. We look forward to reviewing prayer requests from last year's Day of Prayer and rejoicing over the answered prayers. Then we ask and pray for new ones in each department of the mission. We begin at 9:30 a.m. and finish about 3 p.m. A free lunch is ordered in.
