Reflections Online Notification

A number of people have been letting us know that they like to read this quarterly newsletter on our website. That's fine but we wonder if they remember to go check at the right time for the next issue online. So we have set up a new email list, specifically to notify such friends when the online edition of Reflections is ready. Ruth tries to have it ready shortly after the paper edition goes out in the mail.

If you would like to be notified of this, just send us a note with your email address to add to the list.

Our 11th Annual Day of Prayer was on November 21 - if you were not able to be there, watch for a report on it in the next issue, due in February.

Responses to the Bulk Mailing

Inner Peace Factor (cover) Responses to the September mailing of Inner Peace Factor have begun to come in and we are happy to give a preliminary report.

Our office has received 14 responses to-date. Two of these denounced the gospel message they found therein, but all the rest asked for the Mailbox Club lessons, and lesson one was sent out immediately. Of those, nine have already sent back the first lesson completed, showing that they are eager to study God's Word.

We would ask that you join us in praying that these students will keep up with their lessons and continue to grow in knowledge, faith and obedience to the Lord Jesus.

Pray also that many more will respond by sending in the Response card, or by emailing, or phoning us. A Gospel booklet is wonderfully patient. It can lie quietly dormant for a long time and when someone picks it up to read it, the Holy Spirit can use the words to stir the heart of the reader.

You can do even more. Consider this example. In October a couple from Fort McMurray decided to pay for all the mailboxes in that community and the surrounding area to receive this new Inner Peace Factor. Another couple in Saskatchewan heard about this and decided to join them in paying for this mailing.

At 25 cents a home this is a wonderfully affordable evangelistic project for individuals, families, churches, and other Christian groups to embrace. There are two postal codes left to cover in Saskatchewan the small towns and rural areas north of Saskatoon. Maybe you would like to take that on, or some other area across Canada, where you have a passion to see souls saved. We look forward to seeing many such thrusts. You raise the money, and we will deliver to the post office the booklets for those postal codes.

Although responses have slowed to the earlier booklet, There is Hope, mailed out in September 2007, and in March of this year, we have recently received more responses to that mailing. The results can continue for a long time to come. Let's work for the night is coming when no one can work.

We would be happy to get your questions or feedback on things you find in our Reflections issues.
