A God Moment - with Snowballs.
When I invited the congregation to share prayer requests there were the usual for health concerns, unsaved loved ones and a variety of issues. But then someone prayed there would be an outpouring of joy in the church. I heard several whispering their "amen."
After the service I was at the back to shake hands and visit with people as they left. It was a sunny spring day. Snow still covered the ground but the temperature was only a degree or two below freezing.
Suddenly someone got a snowball in the back of the head. The natural response, of course, was to return the favor with another snowball, and then another, and another. Within a couple of minutes snowballs were flying in all directions. The laughter was contagious, and soon nearly everyone was involved. It was the best and the most FUN snowball fight I have ever been in. It was an outpouring of joy!
