Appreciation Tea & Membership

You are enthusiastically invited to our Annual Appreciation Tea on Sunday, August 29th at 3 pm in the Basement meeting room at the office at 401 33rd Street West, in Saskatoon. It is the time when we honour and recognize our volunteers, and we need you there to help make it special for them.

A very short Membership meeting will be included at which our Revised and Updated Constitution and By-laws will be presented for acceptance to make them official. This will complete three years' work; and we will forward a copy to the government. Are you a member? Can you be present for this milestone?

Our Name Sign is Up at Last!

The Western Tract Mission/Source of Light partnership Name Sign has finally been delivered and put up on the east side of the building. It is a back-lit glass sign.

This is something that Arnold Stobbe has worked towards for a long time! It has taken many patient phone calls to bring this sign to this point.

Fastening it to the wall are Wayne Senger (a Board member), his landlord, Jake Giesbrecht, Joe Homontowski, and Arnold Stobbe supervising from the ground.

EMV Project - Cement Work Around Foundation

This was also completed recently after many months of delay. Gary Friesen accepted the contract and brought a helper. In about two days it was done.

The EMV last fall had brought in $1151 for this project, and we are pleased with the sidewalk to the back door, and the way the cement between the foundation and the sidewalk now keeps water out of the basement.
