Impact Canada Responses
- Suicidal Souls
We mailed out There is Hope booklets in 2007 with Rick Langlais' dramatic testimony featured in it. People resonated with his suicidal crisis. Three different people tracked him down through the 'Hands On' phone number to confess they were on the brink too. They desperately needed hope. Rick counselled with each for about an hour, urging them to turn to the Lord.
Two of the three contacted Rick again later, giving names and addresses, and thanked Rick for helping them make a complete turn-around. They are happy in the Lord, and sent 'Hands On' some support.
That mailing was only to ten cities, but some of those city people took the booklets to some contacts in rural areas. From there came these unique responses. You too, could be distributing these booklets of testimonies. You can help us impact all of Canada. It will take .25/household, or four homes for a dollar.
