There is Hope (reviewed)
The booklet we compiled in 2007 with true testimonies of people who found hope and renewal in Christ Jesus has been reformatted and updated in several small ways.
For one thing, we've changed the shape of the 16 page booklet to the landscape view, rather than the upright portrait view. The reason is that we can print more for the same price. Our printing company showed us there is less paper wasted with this format. As you can see from page 16 of this issue of Reflections, it has been effective in bringing some individuals from the brink of despair to healing and new life in Christ. We still have the same testimonies in the booklet although the text was edited a bit to make it all fit into the page limit.
There is Glenda and Jay's story of "A Hopeless Marriage - Healed."
Rick's dramatic testimony in, "The Street Fighter- Champion of Street Kids" is there. We've just updated his photo.
Mark Jenkin's mother shares his testimony in "The High Cost of Peer Pressure," which speaks especially to teens.
Bonnie tells her story of a life going downhill and how she was rescued and lifted up by "The Wonderful Grace of God in Bonnie's Life."
An out of print tract that has led many to faith in Christ is still included, "The Truth Shall Set You Free."
However, we have changed the kids' page puzzle to an interesting little article about a baby spider in "Flying High on a Thread of Hope." We have added a stronger call to sign up for our free Mailbox Club lessons so that we may have opportunity to minister to readers over a longer period of time, and there is a stronger appeal to receive Christ personally inside the back cover.
This booklet is going to press in September and will be mailed directly from the printer's location to the last postal codes in Saskatchewan, (S0K, S0M, S0G) and some in Newfoundland. Over 100,000 pieces are going out! As funds come in, we will do this again and again across all of Canada. You can help us with this BIG project to Impact Canada!
